Lord of the Rings: A Symphonic Concert at South Bay Music Association

On November 2, 2024, the South Bay Wind Ensemble will perform Lord of the Rings: A Symphonic Concert at the Riviera United Methodist Church in Redondo Beach, CA. This concert will bring to life the enchanting world of J.R.R. Tolkien through Howard Shore's score and Johan de Meij's Symphony No. 1, which explores characters and places from Middle-earth. Renowned classical music DJ Rich Capparela will provide narration for each movement of the symphony, under the direction of Maestro Steven Allen Fox. The performance aims to celebrate the rich musical legacy inspired by Tolkien's works, while delivering an exceptional concert experience to the community.
