Comedy and Improv fans now have another popular destination to add to their annual list of must-experience festivals. Featured by the Palm Springs Life Magazine, having hosted luminaries such as Tom Dreesen, and with combined talent that has been seen on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Conan, The Second City, The Office, Parks and Recreation, The New Girl, Funny or Die, and more — the “Joshua Tree International Improv/Comedy Festival” enters its third year. It is produced by the Hi-Desert Cultural Center, the region’s performing and visual arts center for more than 50 years — located just minutes from the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. The 2018 festival will be held July 9-11 and will feature an opening gala, comedy and improvisation workshops, and many live performances and appearances from revered household names and up-and-coming stars.
