JACK QUARTET at Music Academy of the West

The JACK Quartet, founded by Music Academy alum Ari Streisfeld, will perform an exploration of medieval music through contemporary American composition. Known as one of contemporary music's crucial ensembles, the quartet features Christopher Otto, Austin Wulliman, John Pickford Richards, and Jay Campbell. The program, entitled "Modern Medieval," includes works by Juri Seo, Austin Wulliman, and pieces by Otto based on historical European composers. The performance highlights the connections between the musicality of the past and today's voices, bringing intimate narratives of medieval arts to a contemporary audience.
