This special memorial benefit performance of the one-man play, directed by Joe Mantegna, honors the memory of Kitty Bruce, daughter of the late Lenny Bruce, who passed away on May 13, 2026. Ronnie Marmo portrays Lenny Bruce in this 80-minute play, which chronicles the life and death of the controversial comedian and free speech advocate who died of an accidental overdose in 1966. The performance will raise funds for the Lenny Bruce Memorial Foundation, a charity Kitty Bruce started in 2008 to support people in recovery programs for drug and alcohol abuse. Marmo has performed the role for more than 485 performances across the US and Canada since the play opened in Los Angeles in 2017.
