A Noise Within presents Neil Bartlett's adaptation of Great Expectations, directed by Julia Rodriguez-Elliott, in celebration of the company's 35th anniversary season. Based on Charles Dickens' classic novel, the story follows Pip, orphaned as an infant and raised in poverty, who suddenly finds himself heir to a mysterious fortune. As his circumstances change, Pip comes to understand that wealth and status cannot replace compassion and integrity. This coming-of-age tale affirms that character is shaped not by circumstance, but by the choices we make.
