The road to fame is a killer, literally!
All-female rock band, Third Twin, is on the cusp of truly having it all: millions of devoted fans, 35 platinum albums, more money than they know what to do with, and a pending induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. They’ve even been a needle drop in a Scorsese movie! Nothing can stop them now!
Until… tragedy strikes: their rhythm guitarist dies in a freak onstage accident.
But in the world of fame, ego, and rumors, death is rarely the end of the story. Because the show must go on!
Inspired in part by the infamous “Paul is dead” conspiracy, Dead John is a darkly funny original horror-comedy musical packed with high-energy ’80s-inspired rock, backstage chaos, conspiracy culture, four full-scale death sequences, and the terrifying cost of fame.
Created by composer/lyricist Tyler Rivera Stein and writer/director Logan Horberg, Dead John features 13 original songs, a 10-person cast, and enough blood, guitars, and emotional damage to melt your face off. At its core, the show explores fame, sacrifice, and the extreme lengths artists will go to in order to stay legendary. Content Warning: show contains smoke, flashing lights, strong language, drug use, sexual references, death, and… the Devil.

Musical Director / Music & Lyrics
Tyler Rivera Stein is a Los Angeles–based composer whose work spans film and theater. A graduate of NYU Steinhardt and Berklee College of Music, his credits include the Emmy Award–winning short Deviant, the feature film Surrender Dorothy, and the award-winning dark comedy I’m Dead, You’re Welcome. In addition to his work as a composer, Stein has performed in national tours and off-Broadway productions. DEAD JOHN marks Tyler's debut as musical director and composer at the Hollywood Fringe Festival and features 13-originally written songs.
Logan Horberg
Director / Book Writer
Writer and director Logan Horberg has worked across multiple areas of the entertainment industry since 2012, including FX makeup, studio operations, and immersive guest experiences for major film studios. He is also the host of the horror podcast Scare Me Twice. DEAD JOHN marks his Hollywood Fringe Festival debut as both book writer and director.

Taissa Zveiter is a Latinx-American actress and active member of the Television Academy, whose television credits include The Lincoln Lawyer-NETFLIX, The Morning Show-AppleTV, Pam & Tommy-HULU, Quantum Leap-NBC, and High Potential-ABC. She has also worked as a producer for the award-winning comedy film I’m Dead, You’re Welcome. She's also known for her performances on regional productions of Curtains and The Crucible. As a Hollywood Fringe Festival veteran, DEAD JOHN marks her debut as a producer for stage.
