The road to fame is a killer, literally!
All-female rock band, Third Twin, is on the cusp of truly having it all: millions of devoted fans, 35 platinum albums, more money than they know what to do with, and a pending induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. They’ve even been a needle drop in a Scorsese movie! Nothing can stop them now!
Until… tragedy strikes: their rhythm guitarist dies in a freak onstage accident.
But in the world of fame, ego, and rumors, death is rarely the end of the story. Because the show must go on!
Inspired in part by the infamous “Paul is dead” conspiracy, Dead John is a darkly funny original horror-comedy musical packed with high-energy ’80s-inspired rock, backstage chaos, conspiracy culture, four full-scale death sequences, and the terrifying cost of fame.
Created by composer/lyricist Tyler Rivera Stein and writer/director Logan Horberg, Dead John features 13 original songs, a 10-person cast, and enough blood, guitars, and emotional damage to melt your face off. At its core, the show explores fame, sacrifice, and the extreme lengths artists will go to in order to stay legendary.
Content Warning: show contains strong language, drug use, sexual references, death, and… the Devil.
