Chameleon - A New Musical is an original musical with book and lyrics by blind playwright Daisy Villegas, set at the fictional Villegas High School in Whittier, CA. The story follows Sam, a teen film actor under pressure from his director father, whose life is upended when Chase, a fellow student struggling with anxiety and depression, barges into his trailer and begs him to trade lives for a week. The cast includes Donnie Sarabia as Chase, Tyler Vazquez as Sam, with Chima Rok, Delvin Harrington, Angelina Melendez, Dan Saunders, Mari Mar Lopez, Biola Fatusin, and Brenna Baines. The production is directed and produced by Benny Lee Harris Lumpkins Jr., with music direction by Edward Trimis.
