Set in the late Victorian era, Anna and Claire are involved in a Boston marriage, a 19th-century term for two educated women choosing lifelong companionship independent of male support. Anna, mistress of a wealthy man, hopes to woo her longtime companion Claire to move in with her, while Claire has become infatuated with a much younger woman. Creative Coven LLC presents this wickedly sharp drawing room comedy by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Mamet, directed by Bernardo Cubría. Nicole Pacent and Heather Renee Wake play the lead roles and switch roles each night, with Dulce Valencia as the Maid.
