Bean vs. The Robots: A Solo Show Musical is a sci-fi exploration of grief through the funny, wistful, and weird eyes of a lost space traveller, written and performed by Midge Lema. Bean is trapped inside her spaceship, has lost her memories, and must play sad little songs on her keyboard in order to get them back, while also contending with a disgruntled hot robot and an optimistic Elijah Wood. The show is a sequel to Lema's solo show Bean, named Best of Hollywood Fringe 2011 and called one of the top ten shows not to miss at the 2012 Fringe World Festival by The West Australian. Performances take place June 7, 14, 20, and 21 at 5:30pm PT at the Hudson Backstage Theatre in Los Angeles as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival.
