BODYTRAFFIC returns to the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts for its final Los Angeles engagement, celebrating twenty years of contemporary dance. Each evening features a distinct program with works by Fernando Hernando Magadan, Cayetano Soto, Joan Rodriguez, Trey McIntyre, and Richard Siegal, including live percussion by Grammy Award-winner Ricky Matute on June 4. Co-founded by Tina Finkelman Berkett and Lillian Barbeito in 2007, the company has been recognized for its technical prowess and repertoire spanning ballet, contemporary, modern, Afro-Cuban, and hip hop. These performances mark the conclusion of BODYTRAFFIC's national Tour of Thanks following the Board of Directors' announcement of an intentional sunset after two decades of artistic excellence and global touring.
