Harnessing the flair of two iconic playwrights, Pacific Resident Theatre delights in offering a pair of meaty dark comedies. Albee’s Fam and Yam and Pinter’s The Dumb Waiter are presented as a retrospective of two early one acts, both first produced in 1960. The plays run in tandem. Tony Award winners Edward Albee and Harold Pinter, who have left indelible marks in world theatre, give voice to the outlandish and amusing behavior of humans.
“ALBEE/PINTER” runs January 25 – February 5, 2023 with performances at 3pm on Wednesday Jan. 5, 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 3pm on Sundays. Pacific Resident Theatre is located at 705 ½ Venice Blvd, Venice, CA 90291. Street parking or small lot in back. Tickets start at $20 online or call (310) 822-8392.
“Terrific…delicious. The dialogue is genuine, the acting feels completely natural and the play succeeds on every level. I highly recommend you see this small gem” – Santa Monica Daily Press
