Louise Reichlin & Dancers/ LA Choreographers & Dancers will present their third performance at the Culver City Senior Center on March 18. It will have both a joyful as well as compelling look at our post pandemic times featuring a Culver City premier You Gotta Get Up, the 2021 work Reboot! Reboot! both presented last month at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City, and the complete reimagined Urban and Tribal Dances with sections Batida, Wedding, Alone, War, Remembrance, and Together. Words from some of our past reviews include excitement, exhilaration, entertainment, humor, fear, fun, isolation and interconnectedness, illumination, probing and provocative work, transcendence and triumph.
This performance is made possible in part by the City of Culver City and its Cultural Affairs Commission, with support from Sony Pictures Entertainment and the Culver City Arts Foundation. This performance is also supported in part by the California Arts Council and by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Department of Arts and Culture.
