Pacific Jazz Orchestra will return to The Soraya on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. with LOVE INSIDE OUT, a Valentine’s Day concert featuring vocalist Veronica Swift.

The program will be conducted by seven-time GRAMMY-nominated composer and arranger Chris Walden, founder and artistic director of Pacific Jazz Orchestra. The evening will feature love-themed repertoire exploring passion, romance, and heartbreak, including selections such as “All By Myself” by Eric Carmen, “Luck Be a Lady” by Frank Loesser, “As Long As He Needs Me” by Lionel Bart, and “Fever” by Eddie Cooley and Otis Blackwell.

“Pacific Jazz Orchestra is delighted to feature Veronica Swift on this special Valentine's Day concert,” said Walden. “Her captivating vocals bring tremendous depth and emotion to her performances.”

Swift is known for a wide-ranging vocal career that spans jazz and bebop as well as opera, European classical music, bossa nova, blues, funk, industrial rock, and vaudeville. She has appeared in performance with artists including Chris Botti, Michael Feinstein, and Benny Green, and has toured with Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra. Her discography on the Mack Avenue Records label includes Veronica Swift (2023), This Bitter Earth (2021), and Confessions (2019).

Pacific Jazz Orchestra launched its inaugural season with full funding support from The Herb Alpert Foundation, which continues to support the ensemble during the 2025–26 season. Additional support this season is provided by Grow @ Annenberg.

The Soraya is located on the campus of California State University, Northridge, at 18111 Nordhoff Street in Northridge. Tickets range from $59 to $117 and are available at thesoraya.org or by calling 818-677-3000.
