FURBALL at LaGuardia Performing Arts Center

Written by Jeana Scotti and directed by Tara Elliott, FURBALL follows Sam, who develops a mysterious furball growing inside their body that no doctor can explain. As the furball grows, the play offers a surreal, hilarious, and unsettling commentary on relationships, bodily autonomy, and the absurdity of modern health crises. Using humor and absurdity, Scotti explores the private anxieties, curiosities and contradictions women carry about themselves and one another. Previously presented at LPAC in March 2025, FURBALL returns in a further-developed workshop presentation.
