The iconic Caesars Palace honored legendary French performer and activist Line Renaud with a street sign at the Las Vegas resort on Thursday, Sept. 28. Led by Caesars Palace President Gary Selesner, the street naming celebration included a proclamation by Clark County Commissioner Steve Sisolak, who also presented Renaud with the Key to the Las Vegas Strip. Starting at 6:00 PM, the Philharmonic will host its first Oktoberfest Beer Garden in The Smith Center Courtyard. Patrons will have the opportunity to sample a selection of craft beers and German-inspired hors d'oeuvres for $35 per person (reservations required). Music Director Donato Cabrera will host a pre-concert conversation in Reynolds Hall one hour prior to the performance (6:30 PM) for patrons who want to learn more about the history and meaning behind the music to be performed that evening.
