The comedy adventure begins as patrons enter the dining car on the lower level of the Crowne Plaza Hotel at 1301 Wyandotte in Kansas City, Mo. OUR BROTHER'S CAPER takes to the rails to open the new season and new venues for The Mystery Train Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre. After a short hiatus from the popular dinner shows, the new season began on Friday September 4. The hiatus lasted over the summer as the theatre company found new locations for the productions.

Beginning its 42nd season, Theatre for Young America is offering an varied season of plays:: two Kansas City premieres; a world premiere; some traditional favorites; and a Halloween night-time presentation. The 2015-16 season begins with a Siamese cat's imaginative excursion to Mexico, and ends with a boy's magical encounter with a giant. Six of the presentations are based directly upon children's literature. The season runs from October 13, 2015 through June 24, 2016. All productions will be presented on the H&R Block City Stage, located on level B in Union Station Kansas City. Union Station is located at 30 West Pershing Road, Kansas City, Missouri.

Eric Rosen, Artistic Director of Kansas City Repertory Theatre, today announced the casting for the lead roles for Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Pulitzer-Prize winning masterpiece, Sunday in the Park with George. Drama Desk and Lucille Lortel Nominee Claybourne Elder (Bonnie & Clyde, Road Show, Allegro) will lead the cast as George, reprising his critically-acclaimed performance in Signature Theatre's award-winning 2014 production. Broadway veteran Sara Jean Ford (A Little Night Music, The Phantom of the Opera, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Finian's Rainbow) has been cast in the legendary role of Dot.
