Job Description:



What We Are Looking For



The Senior Coordinator, Waco Hall is responsible for all aspects of the production relating to lighting and electrical systems. This includes but not limited to moving lights, LEDs, lighting consoles and digital infrastructure, wireless DMX, and maintenance of the lighting equipment and infrastructure.



This position will work closely with other areas of focus within the theatre (audio, staging, and rigging). This position requires the availability to work evenings and weekends as needed. A Bachelor's Degree, one year of relevant work experience, and a Christian faith are required.



Experience in the following is essential: Fine Arts or Theatre, ETC Eos lighting consoles, moving light and LED programming. Experience with Vectorworks and Lightwright are a must. The successful candidate must also be able to use and maintain power tools, stage lighting equipment, stage and house lighting system, special effects equipment, as well as assist with sound reinforcement equipment, portable and fixed installation sound system, and audio-visual equipment.



What You Will Do



• Program lighting on an ETC Eos based lighting console

• Maintain all lighting paperwork via Vectorworks and Lightwright

• Supervise, in conjunction with the Assistant Director of Waco Hall, all load-ins, setups, rehearsals, performances, strikes, load-outs related to programming

• Manage all aspects for lighting in the hall including inventory, maintenance, design, setup

• Develop and implement maintenance procedures

• Act as lighting designer/light board operator for programs and events

• Make recommendations for lighting upgrades to the facility

• Assist with the coordination and provide the technical needs for events (lights, sound systems, drapes, risers, tables, chairs, and portable staging, etc.)

• Assist and support the installation of all rigging used to raise, lower, or support lighting equipment, audio, backdrop materials, etc. through the use of single purchase fly systems, cables, ropes, blocks, chain motors, etc.

• Lead crews consisting of student stagehands

• Ensure that safe practices and procedures are being adhered to by those onstage and in the facility

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
