Professional Theater – Full Season Contract
Location: Boca Raton, FL | The Wick Theatre

The Wick Theatre is seeking an experienced Stage Manager to join our professional team immediately. This is one of the most critical positions in live theater — the Stage Manager is the anchor who ensures that every rehearsal, cue, and performance runs flawlessly.

We are producing five full-scale productions in our upcoming season and require a Stage Manager with proven expertise to manage and call each show from the booth.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and run rehearsals, create schedules, and track director’s notes
• Maintain prompt books and call all cues during performances
• Act as the central communication hub between cast, crew, designers, and directors
• Supervise preshow checks, safety procedures, and backstage operations
• Run technical rehearsals, oversee transitions, and maintain show quality throughout the run

Qualifications

• Prior professional stage management experience (non-equity acceptable)
• Strong knowledge of cue calling, blocking notation, and rehearsal process
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Calm under pressure; problem-solver with a positive, professional attitude
• Ability to manage multiple productions within a season
