Frankfort’s Red Barn Summer Theatre will present Ken Ludwig’s hilarious comedy “Leading Ladies,” for two weeks starting Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. “Leading Ladies” takes place in 1958 when two down-on-their-luck English Shakespearian actors hear that an aging lady, nearing the end of her life, is searching for her two long-lost English nephews so that she may leave her
considerable fortune to them. These two actors don’t mind impersonating her nephews to improve their financial lot in life but there’s a bump in the road when they arrive only to find out her relatives are not nephews—but nieces. Luke McLaughlin and Xander Hann play the deceptive actors. The rest of the cast consists of Kaileen Barreto, Madi Myers, Eli Grasham, Jackae Johnson, Aaron Moon, and Kenney Troutman. Michael Taylor is the designer and director of “Leading Ladies,” assisted by Stage Manager Roger Disinger. The Red Barn Box Office is open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 5-9 pm and Sundays from 12-2 pm. Tickets are also available online at redbarntheatre.net. “Leading Ladies” is sponsored by The Farmers Bank. Opening Night festivities are courtesy of NHK Seating of America. This Season’s sponsor is Bailey Trucking. The Artistic Director of the Red Barn Summer Theatre is Michael Taylor. The Red Barn Summer Theatre was founded in 1968 by Martin and Carol Ann Henderson.
