Smriti 2025 is an evening dedicated to the legacy of Padma Shri Pandit Shambhu Maharaj, marking his 118th birth anniversary. Under the artistic direction of Vaswati Misra, the event will feature performances by the Dhwani Repertory, a Kathak duet by Ipshita Misra and Daniel Freddy, and a sitar recital by Padma Shri Ustad Shahid Parvez. Additionally, the inaugural Dhwani Shambhu Smriti Puraskar will be awarded to Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and posthumously to Guru Dr. Maya Rao for their contributions to Indian classical arts. The evening will include tributes and a photo exhibition celebrating Pandit Shambhu Maharaj's life and work.
