This Sky showcases the Houston Chamber Choir under the direction of Dr. Betsy Cook Weber, offering an exploration of humanity's quest for understanding through music. The program features a selection of compositions by Heinrich Schütz, Carlos Cordero, Johannes Brahms, and the centerpiece, Kile Smith's Consolation of Apollo, which connects philosophical texts and the Apollo 8 crew's legacy. Accompanied by stunning space-themed projections, this concert invites audiences to reflect on the vastness of the sky and our place within it.
