4th Wall Theatre Company presents a one-night-only reading of 1536, the 2024 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize winner by Ava Pickett, on January 24 at Spring Street Studios. Set in Tudor Essex, the play follows three friends navigating marriage offers and societal expectations in the wake of the Queen's arrest. The cast includes Elissa Cuellar, Skyler Sinclair, Raven Justine Troup, Luis Quintero, and Blake Weir, with direction by Leslie Swackhamer. Following the reading, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a conversation with playwright Ava Pickett.
