Auditions will be held every 5 minutes between 1pm and 8pm. No lunch break.

Equity actors for roles in Williamston Theatre's 2022-23 Season (see breakdown).

Global Majority artists are encouraged to audition.

PREPARATION

Please prepare 2 contrasting, contemporary monologues. Total time 3 minutes.

Ezekiel Mitchell V: An older black man (Z’s father).

Roles:

A Woman: 40-60; the mother of teens. Any race.

MRS. HARRISON, by R. Eric Thomas

Roles:

Aisha: 32, black woman, a successful playwright.

Holly: 32, white woman, a struggling stand-up comedian.

The final two productions of the season are shows that were delayed due to the Covid Shutdowns, so the majority of those roles are already cast. The single role to be cast AND the PRECAST ROLES FOR THE SEASON ARE LISTED BELOW:

June – a survivor. PRECAST.

Alice- a photographer. PRECAST.

Weezy – a goat. PRECAST.

Bib – an older goat. PRECAST.

Roles:

Bari – a depressed misanthrope. PRECAST.

Patty – a good hearted loudmouth. PRECAST.

Mike – an artist, coping with loss. PRECAST.

Luanne Cooper: 20’s. Patty’s niece. Simple and sweet. THIS ROLE HAS YET TO BE CAST.
