SEEKING

Equity actors for understudy roles in THIS BEAUTIFUL FUTURE (see breakdown).

COVID-19: All employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and provide proof of vaccination in accordance with requirements established by the producer. Under this policy, Employees are considered fully vaccinated once they have completed the primary vaccination series (2 doses of Moderna or Pfizer or single dose of Johnsons and Johnson), as well as the booster vaccination. These policies are subject to change.

BREAKDOWN

SEEKING:

OTTO (Understudy) - 16. He/him. This character identifies as white. German soldier. Otto is and feels like a boy. He's in a very grown-up world but he hasn't quite grown up yet. Both an ingenue and a monster.

ELODIE (Understudy) - 17. She/her. This character identifies as white. French. Elodie lets down her hair and puts it up again. Lets it down. Puts it up. She can always find reflective surfaces. She has decided what she would part with for a pair of stockings. She has memories she will take to the grave.

TRACK A (Understudy) - (60s - 80s). She/her. A graceful woman with cropped hair and a voice like Karen Carpenter. Character is comfortable singing and conveying through music, but might not have a necessarily polished/ traditional musical theater voice. Note: Actor will use their own name in the role.

TRACK B (Understudy) - (60s - 80s). He/him. A man with a deep dignity and all his ages at the same time. Character is comfortable singing and conveying through music, but might not have a necessarily polished/ traditional musical theater voice. Note: Actor will use their own name in the role.
