SEEKING

Equity and non-Equity actors and singers for various roles in the upcoming 2020 Spring Tours. See breakdown.


PREPARATION

Singers: Prepare a contemporary musical theatre or pop song. Bring music in correct key; accompanist provided.

Non-Singers: Prepare a contemporary comedic monologue. Does not need to be children or family friendly material. Just show us your sense of humor.

OTHER DATES

All touring productions tour various dates throughout the year. Some contracts are 6-months, from December until mid-June. Shows only touring in the spring start rehearsing in November/December and run until as late as mid-June.

An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of audition.

BREAKDOWN

TheaterWorksUSA, America’s largest theatre for young and family audiences, seeks performers for 2020 winter/spring tours and future replacements. Most roles require singing in tight harmony.

Performers of diverse ethnic backgrounds and gender identities are especially encouraged to attend.

WARRIORS DON'T CRY by Donnetta Grays

New Works:

TBA (Potential workshop of a new musical based on a popular children's book TBA.)


ALL ACTORS WILL BE SIGNED ON AS ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGERS. Actor/ASMs are required to unload/load, setup and/or strike the set. No single piece of scenery shall exceed such proportions of height or weight as to make it impossible to be carried reasonably by two members of the company.

ALL ACTORS MUST BE AVAILABLE TO AUDITION, REHEARSE, AND TRAVEL FROM NYC. Some tours will be traveling to Canada, so actors must be able to travel outside of the United States. Some contracts would include an Artist Activity.
