SEEKING

Equity actors for chorus singer parts in the Broadway and National Tour of THE LION KING.
Ensemble: Strong male identifying and female identifying singers who move very well---late teens – mid 40’s.

WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE SINGERS OF ALL CULTURAL BACKGROUNDS TO ATTEND THIS CALL.

PREPARATION

Be prepared to sing one brief classic R&B, pop or rock and roll song that shows off your voice and range. Please do not sing material from THE LION KING. No standard Broadway theatre music. Bring sheet music. Pianist provided. Bring a picture and resume, stapled together. Chorus Call procedures will be in effect. Non-Equity performers will be seen, time permitting.

BREAKDOWN

Equity encourages everyone participating in the auditions to wear a two-ply cloth face mask, surgical
mask, singer’s mask or respirator (N95, KN95 or KF94). Single-ply face masks, gaiters and bandanas

Equity encourages members to prepare for their audition prior to arriving at the audition venue, to the
extent that they can (e.g., get dressed, hair/make-up, etc.) to avoid crowding in bathrooms and
dressing rooms.

The audition room (12th Floor Studio H) can accommodate no more than 20 individuals at a time.

The holding room (12th Floor Studio F) can accommodate no more than 35 individuals at a time.
