MARGARET JOHNSON: 40s to 50s. Female (cis, transgender, or non-binary). An elegant, practical American woman visiting Italy with her daughter, Clara. Strong and self-assured. Incredibly protective of her daughter. Mature Soprano sound with excellent musicality. Range low A to high G. PRINCIPAL. (ROLE HAS BEEN OFFERED AND ACCEPTED)

CLARA JOHNSON: 26-years-old. Female (cis, transgender, or non-binary).Young and naive for her age with a youthful simplicity and exuberance. Soprano with strong voice in both ends of range. Low A to high A. PRINCIPAL.

FABRIZIO NACCARELLI: Late teens to early 20’s. Male (cis, transgender, or non-binary). Handsome and charming Florentine. Youthful and passionate energy. Lyrical Tenor. Low B flat to high B. Speaks Italian, and speaks/sings English with Italian accent. PRINCIPAL.

GIUSEPPE NACCARELLI: Late 20s to 30s. Male (cis, transgender, or non-binary). Fabrizio’s older brother and Franca’s husband. A lady’s man and a proud Italian. Boisterous and openly speaks his mind. Has a strong legit baritenor voice. Range: B flat to F. Speaks in Italian and speaks English with Italian accent. PRINCIPAL.

FRANCA NACCARELLI: Late 20s to mid 30s. Female (cis, transgender, or non-binary). Guiseppe’s wife. Very passionate and strong. Loves her husband yet unhappy in her marriage. Soprano or Mezzo Soprano with strong head voice. Range: Low B flat to high B. Speaks Italian, and speaks English with Italian accent. PRINCIPAL

SIGNOR NACCARELLI: 40s to 50s. Male (cis, transgender, or non-binary). Fabrizio and Giuseppe’s father. Charming, charismatic and insightful. Loves his family deeply and would always put them first. Range: Low A to D. Speaks Italian and speaks English with light Italian accent. PRINCIPAL.
