SEEKING

ZACH Theatre is currently seeking Equity actors for our upcoming production of The Inheritance (Part One and Part Two) (see breakdown).

Actors local to the Austin, Texas area encouraged to submit.

ZACH encourages performers of all ethnicities, gender identities, and ages, as well as performers with disabilities, to audition.

Video submissions will be accepted as first round auditions.


INSTRUCTIONS

SEE PREPARATION IN BREAKDOWN. Please film in front of a clean background, with no backlighting. As much as possible, limit ambient noise including air conditioners and other electronics. Submit your video, headshot, and resume via the following link. https://bit.ly/33RyWxt. Deadline is 6:00 pm CDT on April 5.

OTHER DATES

In person callbacks will be held in Austin on the week of April 11, 2022 and in NYC the week of April 18, 2022.

Rehearsals begin July 5, 2022.

Performances for Part One begin August 10, 2022, and close September 4, 2022, with
six to seven shows per week: Wednesdays through Sundays at 7:30pm and some Saturday and Sundays at 2:30pm.

Performances for Part Two begin September 14, 2022, and close October 16, 2022, following the same performance schedule as Part One.

OTHER

ZACH is operating as a fully vaccinated workplace, as defined by the CDC. All company members will be expected to follow strict health and safety protocols set forth by ZACH Theatre.

BREAKDOWN

PREPARATION: Film your audition, beginning with a slate, followed by one of the monologues found at https://bit.ly/3CmS3ga. If you do not have access to a reader, you may audition with one of the monologues available. If the specific character you want to audition for does not have a monologue available, state in your slate which character you would like to audition for and perform a monologue from a different character.
