BREAKDOWN

THE ACTORS

SYNOPSIS: A new play written by Ronnie Larsen is one man's journey to end his loneliness and loss of losing his parents. Ronnie hires a set of professional actors to portray his folks and what sounds like the best solution at the time, turns into folly of mishaps and the accidental creation of a real make shift family.

SEEKING:

Clarence: A white male-identifying between the ages of 60 and 70 who has strong physical comedy skills and a strong command of language and text. Clarence is an out-of-work actor who has been hired as a replacement father for Ronnie. His ethics are put to the test as he finds the easiest well paying gig of his life and he takes full advantage.

Real Jay: A white male-identifying between the ages of 45 and 55. Jay is the real-life brother of Ronnie and has his world seemingly put together. Jay is physically fit, straight, married and a father. He comes back into the picture because of his brother, Ronnie's eccentric ways of making a family is unhealthy and unnecessary.

Already Cast:

Ronnie: CAST. Male identifying in his late 40s to early 50s who is somewhat of a recluse. Ronnie's loneliness and inability to release his grief after the passing of his parents pushes him to hire actors to portray them in day-to-day settings.

Jean: CAST. Female identifying between the ages of 50 and 65. Jean is at a crossroads in her life and has been blessed with the opportunity to make bold changes when she is hired to portray Ronnie's mother in day-to-day scenes. A strong comic skill set and command of language.

Actor Jay: CAST. An early 20s male identifying, jock type of any ethnicity. Actor Jay is squeezed into a makeshift family and is loving his easy way at making lots of money. Strong comic skill set.
