ALL ACTORS WILL BE SIGNED AS ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGERS and will be required, as such, to lift scenery and sound equipment during daily load-in and load outs. This tour may include Artist Activity. All actors will need to sign an extraordinary risk rider if hired.

SKIPPYJON
18+ male actor, NOT Caucasian, to play our hero, a Siamese Cat with a big imagination. Skippyjon has a youthful spirit and a great sense of playful adventure. Strong tenor voice. All ethnicities encouraged to submit. 5’6”-5’9”

NIEVE QUE
18+ Female, mezzo with pop belt. Strong comedienne. Spanish dialect needed, to play a beautiful, funny, and independent princess. All ethnicities encouraged to submit. 5’6”-5’9”

POQUITO TITO
18+ Female, Soprano with Pop Belt, Spanish dialect needed, to play Skippyjon’s best pal, a tough and macho Chihuahua, despite his small stature. All ethnicities encouraged to submit. 4’10”-5’2”

DON DIEGO
18+ Male, strong baritone; Spanish dialect needed. A silly, likable, leader of the pack of Chihuahuas. All ethnicities encouraged to submit. 5’10”-6’3”

MAMA JUNEBUG / THE WICKED BRUJA
18+ Male, strong comic character actor, bari-tenor. Variety of dialects needed (including Southern) to play multiple roles including a mama Cat and an evil Witch. Despite her name, the Bruja is not necessarily Hispanic- all ethnicities encouraged to submit. 5’6”-6’

STORYLINE:
This is a musical based on the popular children's' book SKIPPYJON JONES by Judy Schachner. Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the bravest Chihuahua of them all? Skippyjon Jones the Siamese cat who thinks he's a Mexican Chihuahua of course! While his sisters listen to Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, Skippy heads off for the REAL adventure awaiting him in his closet.
