All roles will be understudied.
Gene Tunney: Recently retired Heavyweight boxing champion. 30-50. Physically fit and imposing, erudite, man of faith, on a search for purpose.
Polly Tunney: Elegant, empathic New England socialite. 25-30. The referee and the emotional center of the play.
GBS: Famous Anglo-Irish playwright. 70+ but still very active. Brilliant, witty, and a true boxing fanatic. Anglo-Irish dialect.
Please prepare 1 monologue, no longer than 2.5 minutes, from 20th century dramatic writing that you feel might be appropriate for this material and these characters. And please bring 2 copies of your headshot and resume.
