NOTE: This is a play within a play.
CAMERON
(female): Has all the trappings of a typical Material Girl, but doesn't have the heart for it. In fact, she shows real ironic wit in her sense of life’s pointlessness. Plays herself, Cameron, in the play within the play.
ETHAN
(male): Cameron's ex. The poet rebel. Irresistible. Extremely charismatic. Plays himself, Ethan, in the play within the play.
AUDREY
(female): A teen friend of Cameron's, and it’s barely a secret that she’s totally in love with Cameron. Audrey portrays her mother, Cameron’s devoted and long-time family housekeeper, BIANCA, in the play within the play. Audrey’s not above mocking her immigrant mom. Seeking a Latina or Hispanic actress.
GRAHAM
(male): A young republican teen friend of Cameron's. He would be daddy’s choice -- totally in the conservative, monied mold of the world Cameron comes from. It’s therefore no surprise Graham portrays Cameron's dad, HARRISON -- a man finally kicking back after the ruthless-capitalist years, in the play within the play.
NED
(male): Ned is the scion, and heir apparent, of the ultra-prominent Danes' family. The stud-muffin that Cameron’s daddy invited to cheer his daughter up. Plays himself, Ned, in the play within the play.
DEMETRIUS
(male): A cross-dressing dishy teen friend of Cameron’s. Demetrius portrays AUNT DALLAS, Cameron's ageless and lusty Aunt, in the play within the play.
ALESSANDRO
(male): Cameron and Suz's sophisticated, metrosexual bosom buddy. Wears his entitlement with panache. Plays himself, Alessandro, in the play within the play.
SUZ
(female): Cameron's rival. Ravishing. The jet-set version of a valley girl. Born and bred - like all these teens - in a privileged, international set. Plays herself, Suz, in the play within the play.
