Due to the impending bizzard, All appointments for Sat 2/9 have been moved to Tue 2/12 starting at 2pm-10pm (break 6p-7p), same location in Boston. Auditions Mon 2/11 in Gloucester remain at the same time and place.

For an appointment, call 978/281-4099 (12-4 PM, M-F) until 4 pm 2/8. Equity Members without appointments will be seen throughout each audition day, as time permits.

Five-minute appointments. Each Equity Member has a minimum of three minutes to audition. Please prepare material of your choice (monologue(s)/scene(s), including, if you wish, selections from the season’s plays). Theater prefers contemporary monologues. For those who wish to perform a scene, a reader will be available. Please be prepared to state your starting and stopping places. Scripts are available at StageSource, 88 Tremont St., Boston. No singing; see separate notice for SPRING AWAKENING Equity Performer Auditions.

Please bring a picture and resume, stapled back-to-back.

2013 season non-musicals. All dates are in 2013. Some roles have been cast and are so identified; for those roles, auditioning performers will be considered as possible (emergency) replacements, should any become necessary.

DRIVING MISS DAISY

Daisy Werthan: (CAST) a widow (age 72-97), strong-willed, high energy, opininated with a feisty edge and compassionate heart

Boolie Werthan: (CAST) her son (age 40-65), bussinessman, Junior Chamber of Commerce style, strong, capable air

Hole Coleburn: (CAST) Miss Daisy's chauffeur (age 60-85) a blackman down on his luck, but anxious to keep up appearances, wise, kind-hearted and quietly dignified
