Disney Live Entertainment is accepting Vocalist Submissions for Festival of The Lion King. Join the inhabitants of the Pride Lands for this African-inspired celebration of The Lion King featuring songs from the film! This original musical theatre production is performed live in the Harambe Theater, a state-of-the-art, indoor, 1500-seat theatre-in-the-round in Disney's Animal Kingdom®, at the Walt Disney World® Resort near Orlando, FL.

All of these characters are confident in themselves as individuals, their relationships with each other, and the rest of the inhabitants of the Pride Lands. Their passion for entertaining and sharing the music and culture of the Lion King with their audience is what drives their performances. Kiume: The Leader. He has a strong, commanding presence and could be seen as intimidating, yet he is witty and has a kind and loveable side. Resonant baritone/bass.
Nakawa: The Prince. An eager, charming, and youthful character. He is confident but not cocky. Pop/R&B second tenor.
Zawadi: The Gift. Mother Earth to all who know her. She is wise and grounded but also has a fun and robust personality. Gospel mezzo-soprano with high belt.
Kibibi: The Princess. A radiant ingénue with a sweet and playful persona. Pop/gospel second soprano with a high belt to E.
