Part-time stage manager
The hit comedy, DRUNK SHAKESPEARE, is hiring stage managers in Washington D.C.! We are looking for savvy professionals to join our team of multi-talented stage management support staff. We foster an incredibly fun environment in the style of a secret society & speakeasy. We strive to provide patrons with a unique and memorable experience. This is an opportunity to be part of an incredible experience.
Candidates must have weekend and holiday availability.
Weekday shifts will run approximately 5:30pm-10:00pm.
Weekend shifts can vary, with staff working 4-7 hours between 3:30pm and 12am.
This is a part-time position.
While we look for candidates with backgrounds in theatre production, from pre-show like setting props and tech checks, to show duties such as running cues, wardrobe changes, and acting as a back-up for manager by learning administrative duties, directly interfacing with patrons and scheduling other staff. Management experience is highly preferred and creative experience in the theatre industry is a plus, as well as passion for the industry and a fast-paced production environment with many moving parts.
$95 per show or $20 per hour, with the opportunity to train across management duties and eligible for additional hours for administrative duties and gaining industry experience.
