About this studio
The Portland Ballet (TPB) is a ballet academy and youth company on SW Capitol Highway in Portland, Oregon, celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2026. Its Curriculum Program gives dancers aged 6 to 18 a year-round technical foundation through placement classes, and a Career Track program for students aiming at professional careers relaunches for 2026-27. Younger children enter through Dance for Joy: Creative Movement for ages 3-4 with parent observation and Pre-Ballet for ages 5-6. Other offerings include a K-Pop class, musical theatre for ages 13-18, and a free Young Men's Intro to Ballet. Teens and adults have daily drop-in classes in studio or on Zoom, a beginning ballet series, an adult intensive and a Dance for Parkinson's community class. Summer intensives complete the program.
