The Ballet Theatre of Annapolis Incorporated

Ballet Theatre of Maryland is a non-profit performing arts organization in Annapolis offering professional performances, comprehensive dance training and community outreach across Anne Arundel County and beyond. Its Conservatory of Dance teaches at three sites: 1981 Moreland Pkwy and Maryland Hall at 801 Chase St in Annapolis, and 125 Pullman Crossing Rd in Grasonville. Faculty provide instruction in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, creative movement and adaptive dance. The youngest classes are Creative Movement for ages 2.5-3 in Grasonville and BTM Tots for ages 3-4 in Annapolis, progressing through ballet and tap combination classes for ages 4-7 and placement-based Classical Ballet levels 3 to 6 with demi-pointe, pointe and partnering work. New students are evaluated for placement by the Conservatory Principal. The organization also runs a Trainee Program, an Adaptive Dance Program, school assemblies, touring, summer camps and student Nutcracker auditions.
