About this studio
Greater Annapolis Ballet (GAB) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit ballet school in Annapolis, Maryland serving students from age 3 through adult. Its stated mission is to inspire young artists and ensure an everlasting love of dance, with a strong focus on classical ballet while exploring other techniques to shape well-rounded dancers. Training is arranged in three tracks: a Foundational Program running from Creative Movement through Ballet 8 with flexible weekly commitments; a Pre-Professional Division (company) for ages 9 and up training six to ten or more hours a week for performances and competitions; and Specialized Classes open to all students in contemporary, tap, jazz, boys ballet, conditioning and open ballet. GAB is a Regional Dance America member, offers scholarships and payment plans, performs Nutcracker and spring shows, and moved to a new studio in Annapolis Town Center in autumn 2026.
