Paul Taylor Dance Company returns to Philadelphia to celebrate the extraordinary legacy of dance icon Paul Taylor, presented by the Annenberg Center and NextMove Dance, Friday, January 24 (8 PM), and Saturday, January 25 (2 and 8 PM). In honor of Taylor's wide-ranging and expressive repertoire, 'one of the most exciting, innovative, and delightful dance companies in the entire world' (The New York Times) will perform a program of his masterpieces, including Syzygy, Sunset and Piazzolla Caldera. a??a??a??a??a??a??a??The magic of The Nutcracker returns to the Upper Darby Performing Arts Center (UDPAC) for five shows November 22, 23 and 24, the weekend before Thanksgiving. For more than a quarter century, the production by Narberth's renowned Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet Society has enchanted children and families with its professional soloists and many of the region's best dancers.

Vive la France! The Bercy, Delice et Chocolat and Ardmore Initiative present the debut of Ardmore's Bastille Day Block Party this Sunday, July 14, 2019, from 11:00am to 4:00pm. Celebrate your love of French food and culture with an all-day party thrown in honor of the 230th anniversary of the storming of the Bastille. The Bercy (7 Lancaster Avenue) celebrates their first holiday season in Ardmore and on the Main Line with a very special new tradition for families. On Saturday, December 22, 2018, The Bercy will partner with The Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet for the first Children's Tea in Paris, from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. Families are invited to enjoy a special tea service seating on the upper Mezzanine with traditional finger sandwiches, pastries and fresh-baked offerings from The Bercy's own kitchen. Following tea and sandwiches, participants will enjoy selections from the Nutcracker by the Academy, followed by special make-your-own take-away gift bags.
