Aprils School of Dance

April School of Dance is a studio at 136 Washington St in Saint Marys, Pennsylvania, entering its 35th year of teaching in Elk County and the surrounding area. It serves students who dance recreationally as well as those preparing to continue dance in college or professionally, and places students in levels by age or grade with re-placement if a teacher judges a different level is a better fit. The class list runs from a Mommy and Me session for 15-month to two-year-olds and Tiny Tot and Pre-Dance classes for four-year-olds through ballet, pointe and technique, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, musical theatre, acrobatics and stretch/turns/jumps, with ballet required alongside contemporary, advanced tap and jazz, and company membership. A ten-week adult tap and ballet session runs periodically, and private lessons can be arranged for extra training or make-up classes. In-person registration for the 2026-27 season was held in August with classes starting in September, and the studio stages an annual show.
