About this studio
Touch of Class Dance Studio (TOCD) is a family-run studio in suburban Philadelphia entering its 48th season, with locations in Broomall and Downingtown, Pennsylvania; the Downingtown branch moved to Milltown Square in 2026. Its children's program takes students from about age 2.5 through kindergarten in basic tap, ballet and creative movement. The recreational program starts in Grade 1 with a cumulative curriculum emphasizing enjoyment, technique and movement quality, plus optional performances. The TOCD Competitive Company is a pre-professional team that travels nationally to compete, and a separate TOCD Dance Team performs at venues including the Wells Fargo Center. Summer and August intensives, an annual Nutcracker and birthday parties round out the year.
