About this studio
The Kennedy Dancers is a 501(c)(3) non-profit repertory company and dance school that has operated in Jersey City since 1976. It runs from its own building, the Kennedy Dancers Repertory Center at 79 Central Avenue on the corner of Beacon Avenue, and takes in a professional company, an inner-city youth junior dance company, a KD Teen Dance Company and an open school offering classes for children from age three through adults. Class offerings cover basic ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary and modern alongside movement and fitness options such as Zumba, belly dance, salsa, tai chi and dance jam.
