Hook Arts Media is a Red Hook, Brooklyn arts organization formerly known as Dance Theatre Etcetera, whose stated mission is to unite artists, educators and communities to build a more just and joyful world. Rather than operating as a conventional dance school, it works through arts education programming with young people and educators and through community performance, most visibly the annual Red Hook Fest, which in 2020 was presented as a livestream featuring The Illustrious Blacks, Taina Asili, Martha Redbone, the Resistance Revival Chorus and Kyle Marshall Choreography.
