Elegant Dancing

Elegant Dancing is a partner-dance studio at 11230 Waples Mill Road, Suite 118, Fairfax, Virginia, marking its 15th anniversary in September 2026. It describes itself as a one-stop shop for all levels and styles of partnership dancing, taking raw beginners from a first box step through to social or competitive dancing, and covers American and International ballroom styles, Argentine tango, club and country western dances. The teaching staff numbers around 19 instructors, and the studio advertises no contracts or sales pressure. Services include private lessons for individuals and couples, group classes and workshops at multiple levels, wedding dance preparation, a Bronze syllabus, a medal test program and student showcases. Social dance parties run most weeks, including themed end-of-month Friday parties with free lessons and beginner bootcamps, west coast swing socials, salsa and Latin nights and Argentine tango practicas. The studio also hosts its own Elegant Dance Challenge competition.
