Avery Ballet LLC

Avery Ballet has offered classical ballet training since 1995 and is in residence at Fredericksburg Academy's Arts & Sciences Building, 10725 Academy Drive, serving the Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania area of Virginia. The school teaches students of all ages who wish to dance either as a vocation or for self-enrichment, with classes from beginner through advanced for youth, teens and adults, plus pre-professional training and an Elite Program. Instruction covers ballet, pointe, modern and contemporary technique together with Pilates conditioning, and emphasises clean technique, musicality and artistic maturity in a class atmosphere the school describes as encouraging and personalised. Avery Ballet lists alumni who have gone on to companies and schools including American Ballet Theatre, Boston Ballet, Houston Ballet, the Juilliard School, the Royal Danish Ballet, Alvin Ailey and Washington Ballet. Summer workshops with guest instructors are also offered.
