In Step School of Dance in Fairfax, Virginia is one of Northern Virginia's longest-running dance studios and describes itself as a home for American social ballroom. It offers group classes, walk-in classes, private lessons, workshops and dance parties. The teaching covers American Smooth (fox trot, waltz, tango and Viennese waltz), American Rhythm (cha cha, rumba, bolero, swing, samba and mambo), party dances such as merengue and bachata, and specialty dances including West Coast swing and Argentine tango.
