Dance Expressions by Erica is a dance studio in the heart of Irwin, Pennsylvania, operating from two buildings at 324 Main Street and 407 Oak Street and serving the Pittsburgh and Westmoreland County area. It provides dance education for all ages, abilities and levels of experience from a professional faculty, structured as a preschool program, a recreational program, pre-professional classes, and award-winning competitive teams. The weekly timetable includes ballet, tap and theatre, hip hop, acro and tumbling at intermediate and advanced levels, leaps and turns, legs and feet conditioning, and early-years classes such as Tiny Tumblers, Tippy Toes, Debut Dancers, Rising Stars and Super Stars. Facilities comprise four large studios with professionally installed sprung floors, three hardwood and one with a marley overlay, floor-to-ceiling mirrors, custom ballet barres, foam and tumbling mats and skill builders, plus closed-circuit viewing rooms, waiting areas, a kitchen and homework space, and an in-house dancewear boutique. The studio also runs summer tumbling camps, performs at community events in downtown Irwin, and stages an annual showcase.
