Something's Afoot will be at Allen Contemporary Theatre May 5 - 21! Tickets are available now at www.AllenContemporaryTheatre.net/tickets This zany, funny musical centers around a group of ten people who are invited to the remote country estate of Lord Rancour, who is later found murdered. As the guests try to figure out the identity of the killer, they discover each of them has a motive for wanting Lord Rancour dead. One by one, they're picked off by cleverly fiendish devices. As the bodies pile up in the library, the survivors frantically race to uncover the identity and motivation of the cunning culprit. The show is a spoof of the classic murder mystery genre, and is full of witty one-liners, slapstick humor, and tongue-in-cheek references to popular mystery stories. Overall, Something's Afoot is a lighthearted and entertaining musical that is sure to keep you guessing until the very end. Something's Afoot is rated PG-13 for some sexual innuendo, implied alcohol use, loud noises, and strobe lights.
