Dallas Theater Center announced today that Austin/Brooklyn band Foe Destroyer will return to the DTC stage in the upcoming production of The Rocky Horror Show. The self-described "nerd, grunge, trash, pop" group will take center stage at the Wyly Theatre from September 11 through October 19.

WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin today announced the cast for the musical Bonnie & Clyde, with music by Frank Wildhorn, lyrics by Don Black, and book by Ivan Menchell, running October 10-November 2, 2014 at the Addison Theatre Centre. The ensemble cast stars John Campione as Clyde Barrow, Kayla Carlyle as Bonnie Parker, David Price as Buck Barrow, Sarah Elizabeth Smith as Blanche Barrow, Anthony Fortino as Ted Hinton, Sonny Franks as the Preacher, Alexandra Doke as Young Bonnie, and Andy Stratton as Young Clyde. The ensemble features Daron Cockerell, Brigitte Goldman, Clinton Greenspan, Kyle Igneczi, Hunter Lewis, Christia Mantzke, Michael Scott McNay, Kelly Nickell, Alan Pollard and Willy Welch.
Rover Dramawerks' 15th Season to Include 24-Hour Play Festivals and More

Rover Dramawerks has announced their Fifteen Season of plays "off the beaten path." The fact that this will be their first full season in their new theatre venue makes this milestone anniversary even more special. Rover will present seven plays and two One Day Only 24-hour play festivals, starting with The Fourth Wall, by A. R. Gurney, directed by Andi Allen, running October 23 - November 15, 2014.

Called an "extreme open mic" by ABC-TV, Jim Caruso's Cast Party is a wildly popular event that has been bringing Broadway glitz and urbane wit to the legendary Birdland in NYC every Monday for the past eleven years. The hilarious impromptu evening has also been celebrating local talent in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, Austin, and on the high seas. Now, for the second time, Caruso and Stritch are bringing the fun to Dallas, their old stomping grounds! Their May booking was a smashing success, packing a record number of audience members into Kitchen Cafe Dallas.

Parker Rd, Suite 580, at the northwest corner of Parker and 75. Performances are today, July 31 - August 23, with shows on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m., plus an additional matinee performance on Saturday, August 9 at 2:00 p.m.
'HEDWIG,' THE NANCE & More Set for Uptown Players' 2015 Season

Uptown Players, a professional theater group located in the Uptown area of Dallas, has announced its 2015 season at the Kalita Humphreys Theater complex, which will feature the regional premiere of the 2013 Tony Award nominated play, The Nance, the professional area premiere of the 2011 Tony nominated musical Catch Me If You Can, the 2014 Tony award winning musical, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, plus a new play entitled Harbor, which just completed a successful off-broadway run. Uptown Players will also present its annual fundraising performance, this year entitled Christmas Our Way, which will be held in December 2014. Uptown Players will present Gilligan's Fire Island, another world premiere parody from the creator of Re-Designing Women and The Facts of Life this spring in the Rose Room Theater at S4.

Amphibian Stage Productions today announced newly released screenings of National Theatre Live through early spring 2015, presented in association with the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. Star-studded productions of A Streetcar Named Desire, Medea, Skylight, an encore screening of Frankenstein starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller, John and Treasure Island will follow the previously-announced screenings of A Small Family Business and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.
