Rover Dramawerks concludes their 17th Season with the new mystery Sherlock Holmes and the West End Horror by Anthony Dodge and Martha Milgrom Dodge. Performances will be at Rover's theatre in Plano, located in Ruisseau Village at 221 W. Parker Rd, Suite 580, at the northwest corner of Parker and 75. Performances run October 26 - November 18, 2017 on Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays at 3:00 and 8:00 p.m.

Oliver as Mother in the production receiving its premiere this spring as part of the AT&T Performing Arts Center Elevator Project Season. Ms. Oliver was recently seen onstage as Ursula in Disney's When You Wish at Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma. She was also featured as Vivienne Kensington in Theatre Arlington's Legally Blonde The Musical, also directed by Adolfo. Kimberly is also the host of Broadway On Tuesdays at Alexandre's Bar. Over the years DCT has amassed an enormous collection of contemporary clothing, handmade costumes, household goods, specially designed objects, tools and even appliances. Patrons, friends, neighbors, theater professionals, families, and thrift shoppers are invited in to scour the racks and all welcome to come in and haggle for their finds.

LCT opened the relatively new work, Alice in Slasherland written by Qui Nguyen, this weekend to a packed house. Tucked away off the newly expanded Main Street in The Colony, this budding theatre greets audiences warmly in their freshly renovated lobby, complete with complimentary wine. Audiences are given a glimpse as to what's in store for this particular play when front row patrons are issued rain ponchos and warnings that they are seated in the splash zone. A director's note in the program makes a point to state that this genre of horror is made by a group of people who enjoy the schlocky goofiness of the Evil Dead franchise.

The younger brother resents the older for having been their father's favorite and having inherited most of their father's fortune. As the dinner progresses the bad blood between them boils over leading to an unexpected, shocking, and violent conclusion as they fail to resolve their differences.
